Terms of Service

These Terms of Service govern your use of thelincolnlocalspotlight.com and participation in the Lincoln Local Spotlight direct mail advertising program, operated by Cordwin Marketing Group, 3519 V St, Omaha, NE 68107. By submitting a form or reserving a spot, you agree to these terms.

Advertising Program Terms

• Lincoln Local Spotlight is a shared oversized 9x12 postcard mailed to approximately 10,000 Lincoln, Nebraska homes per round via USPS Every Door Direct Mail (EDDM). Household counts and routes are approximate and may vary with postal route data.
• Category exclusivity means one advertiser per business category per mailing. Categories are reserved on a first-come, paid-in-full basis and are confirmed in writing by us.
• Ad design is included. You agree to supply logos, images, offers, and copy by the stated deadline and confirm you hold the rights to all materials provided. You are responsible for approving the final proof; we are not liable for errors in approved artwork.
• Missing an artwork or content deadline may result in placement of a basic ad using available information, or forfeiture of the spot without refund.
• Mailing dates are targets, not guarantees. Printing schedules and USPS delivery windows can shift for reasons outside our control.
• We may decline or remove advertising that is unlawful, misleading, offensive, or that conflicts with an existing exclusivity commitment.
• We do not guarantee any specific number of calls, leads, customers, or revenue from participation.

Payment Terms

• Advertising rates start at $350 for a 1/16 page, $650 for a 1/8 page, and $1,000 for a 1/4 page per mailing. Rates are quoted per round and may change for future rounds.
• Payment is due in full before print production begins. A spot is not reserved until payment is received.
• Because print and postage costs are committed in advance, payments are non-refundable once artwork production has begun or the print deadline has passed.
• Declined or reversed payments may result in loss of placement and category exclusivity.

Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, our total liability arising out of or relating to the program is limited to the amount you paid for the affected mailing. We are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including lost profits or lost business opportunities, whether arising from production errors, delivery delays, postal service actions, or campaign performance. The program is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind, express or implied.

Governing Law

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Nebraska, without regard to conflict of law principles. Any dispute will be brought in the state or federal courts located in Nebraska.
